The oceans cover more than 70% of the earth and produce more than half of the oxygen we breathe (90% of the O2). While only 5% of the ocean is explored, it is considered as one of the most diverse places on earth. But the oceans have been in peril for quite a while now due to human activities. As each day passes, our beautiful oceans with amazing and vibrant species are closer and closer to becoming a distant dream.
The flow of waste, plastic pollution and unregulated fishing destroy the marine environment and threatens the life of numerous marine species. Truckloads of wastage enter the oceans every minute. The situation is dire.
Fortunately, there are committed non-profit organizations such as ours that are committed to working hard to save and protect our oceans and marine ecosystems.
1. Save The Seven Seas
Save The Seven Seas is community oriented, non-profit organization that is dedicated to marine conservation, research, and education. Save The Seven Seas is uniquely positioned to protect the vast ocean areas by identifying the pressing needs facing today’s marine ecosystem, advocating for their protection, and promoting sustainable marine protection campaigns.
Their priority is to create an urgently needed worldwide system to protect the marine wildlife by the help of supporters and volunteers who want to make an impact and conserve the oceans. With the Save The Seven Sea initiative, supporters are able to donate and utilize boats and submarines to clean and study the oceans via underwater exploration and education. They participate in interactive campaigns that encourage meaningful progress and reflect the current state of marine life. By working together, they are changing the current course and moving towards a sustainable future.
